The Healing Nature of Plants by Ton Jansen
This book offers thematic descriptions of plant family characteristics followed by a differential description of the remedies belonging to that family. It describes 24 plant families. First the biological characteristics of a plant family are given, followed by its homeopathic theme. Plants within a family are separately described. The descriptions are compact, making it easy to quickly select a remedy. The risk of a compact description is that it can be incomplete. However, references can be found in the extensive descriptions of plant remedies in the Materia Medica.
In general, plants are a reflection of both cosmic powers, allowing growth, and mineral composition, carrier of the nature of plants. Therefore, phenomenological research gives us insight in the homeopathic essence of plants. Ton Jansen has formulated family themes drawing from his professional experience as a grower, love and knowledge of plants, phenomenological research and homeopathic knowledge.
